Vyoocam is partnering with Mediate to combine the power of AR platforms and computer vision to understand physical spaces in new, innovative, and effective ways. Their AI solutions are optimized to work in real-time and locally (privately) on edge devices like Vyoocam's wearable camera.
Both companies are combining the power of AR platforms and computer vision on Vyoocam wearable devices to understand physical spaces in new, innovative, and effective ways.
In collaboration with MIT, Mediate is developing cutting-edge novel neural networks that robustly parse 3D spaces.
Supersense app running on Vyoocam
Build by Mediate, Supersense is a new kind of app for the visually impaired. Mediate has developed a system that helps people with visual impairments find the objects they are looking for in their environments. The app is available on Google Play Store and is being used by more than 1,000 users every month.
Vyoocam's goal is to replace the hend-held smartphone with its hands-free wearable camera to help visually impaired people run Mediate Supersense app with more ease while receiving information about surroundings trough audio commands.
